Ranged is very overpowered in BG1 especially, and gets you far on BG2 and ToB before other damage types get ahead. In that sense Archer with Grand Mastery in mind is a damned good choice for a pure build...

One thing that confused me at first, these bonuses are not cumulative. For example, specialization points gives u 2+ damage, and mastery gives u +3 to damage, but youre not gaining +5 damage, youre just progressing from +2 damage, to +3 damage, right?

You can avoid this easy enough if you read the numbers before the next reroll.

Dav's experience is one of the best first time runs I've seen so far. Absolute unit FORGOES Vit, pumps Str to almost it's cap by Blighttown, and is rocking the fat roll + Zwei. I love it. And the fact that he doesn't give a shit about any 'Meta' or 'Optimum' strategies. Just a dude playing a game! As it should be. Love ya, Davaeorn! I don't know if this has been said, but if you go off AD&D 2e rules, Save vs. Paralyzation is part of Poison/Death. It's commonly referred to as PPDM (Paralyzation/Poison/Death Magic). Fantastic guide all in all and I've learnt a lot about a lot these weapons and I've been playing this game for far too long.

I love that Daaveorn refuses to cave to the "Naked + Light Roll + Heavy Weapon" meta. Even from the chat suggestions. Soulsborne games are all about fashion and cool weapons. The drip. Not what is easy/OP. To resort to a fast roll because it's 'easier or necessary' is honestly stupid. Fast roll = 13 Invincibility frames Fat roll = 9 Invicibility frames The game runs at 60fps. That's 4 frames of difference. .015 seconds. Unless you play Street Fighter competetively, you won't notice a tangible difference, it's just a slower recovery which in DSR is fine and won't get you killed like in DS3, ER or BB.

Kensai can wear the patrol leader's helmet quest item in the underdark which gives crit protection. Most likely an oversight but still nice to have crit immunity

Out of curiosity, have you ever considered the Spell Revisions mod? A large majority of the spells have their saving throw 'type' changed. Polymorph spells actually require Save vs. Polymorph, Petrification spells actually require Save vs. Petrification etc etc. though I will admit, some of those changes are wack and make zero sense (Delayed Blast Fireball becomes Save vs. Breath?)

16:37 after testing finally everyone in the 2nd game (not just black pits and combat) I AGREE!!!!! Anomen for cleric with str alone is better than Vici. BUT he also has more HP and CAN TANK!!! also i find him after Neera MOST likeable. (spoiler Vicona leaves you party if you are too financialy maximalsi aka repi 19 -.- I hate Vici now 10 is terrible, i made her the acn-bug armor and how dos she behaves terrible and betrays -.-) Love Anomen i never should have cheated on this beautiful man :D even if i like only girls/woman. (serious-lie just leave Vici on the stake to be burn where she belongs :D)
